new items and open house!

Dear Friends,
Fall is my favorite season! I am having such a great time repainting rooms in the shop and displaying new merchandise! I am posting some pictures (with my new camera!) to give you a sneak peek. It's time for new display gardens and a fresh load of plants. My friend and neighbor Janice Golden will be here for the open house this Saturday with her jewelry and estate sale treasures. Come have a fun girlfriend's day! I am dreaming of homemade soup, pumpkin muffins, and sweaters. I'm from New England and miss colder weather. I may have to take a trip to Oak Glen to get my Fall fix. In the meantime, my woodsy garden at the shop will have to do. Let's Pretend!

  2. Hello Cathy,
I pray this post finds you having a beautiful and successful Fall Open House. Your profile picture shows a lady that is as vibrant as the rich colors of fall.
I joined as a follower so I can keep up with your beautiful posts.
I found you through Erin, of the painted garden who sent my 33 year old daughter, Amy, a beautiful painting of a pink bicycle that has a basket of roses on the front of it. We are taking care of our daughter who has terminal cancer but we are believing for a miracle. I too keep a prayer journal. I kept a prayer journal, long before I even knew what blogging was. My daughter has been faithful to write a letter to God every night until she became bedfast.
I wish I lived out in Ca where the flowers stay so gorgeous....I feel closer to God in the garden than any where else. I would love to see more pictures of your bird cage fairy gardens. Fall is my favorite time of the year but I start bringing a lot of plants into the house because I hate winter...it seems so barren and it is so very cold.
I would love to have you visit my blog and join as a follower. I love...love making new friends...it is such a joy.
    Angel Hugs
